Yes, its a very Earthbound-ish Action RPG with silly things in it. You control the main character indirectly, or so Ive heard. Also, its pronted by Atlus, so there will only be a few copies around to buy.

Contact sounds like it would have aliens in it. I just sounds that way. Because contact, like contacting aliens, thats how it sounds. Maybe the aliens contact you, instead of you contacting them, but you can't tell by the way it sounds. Am I saying the way it sounds to much, i sounds like it to me. Seriously, thats the last time I write that. Anyway, whats a DS, I can't find mine so I'm starting to think I never owned one.

i can now tell you all from experience that Contact is as one-of-a-kind as that ign review says.

it does feel kind of average, but it is very interesting (but not necesarily inovative).

and too answer zach's question, yes there are aliens (well, sort of) but the name contact refers to the professor contacting you, the player, in the begining. the concept is that you are i guess guiding the character you play as while the professor advises things.

I've just played the first RTS/RPG for the DS: Lost Magic.

Difficult, but very satisfying when you beat that level you've been trying to complete for a week.

The only things I see wrong with it are the graphics and all the text boxes(which really are necessary to advance the plot, but in order to advance the text boxes you've got to tap the screen: Hand-cramp central. Also, what can you expect from the DS? Voice acting?! Sessler and Webb expect too much of our little Nintendium friend)

to rienforce joe's point:

i hate it when people bitch about lack of voice acting; i don't think that voice acting adds too much to a game. sure it's nice to have, but half of the time the voice acting just makes you cringe and you can't play said game in front of anyone for fear of being embarrassed.

Thats never gonna happen because Nintendo doesn't like good ideas. They like money, though, on account that they re-release Mario every other year.

well, i still like AWDS,
I still have yet to find everything in MP Hunters,
I'll pick up Meteos once in a while,
I'll probably pick up Cantact again,
and I wouldn't mind a good mariokart DS party again.
