Sony just cant get a break these days. I'll have to give it a rent.

Eventually, good game design and thorough development will be replaced by product placement (EVERYWHERE!!) and quick, ****ty, cookie cutter games that are mediocre at best and also eventually, it will be too hard to tell who actually made the game because they will all have so many corporate endorsement things.

but it could take away by ruining the effect that you're in an alternate reality or something. besides, due to my cynical nature, whenever i see product placemnt i think of what ass hole company had to dabble their hands into an industry that they have nothing to with.

we'll know we have a problem when we find product placement in RPG's.

Sometimes it makes the game more realistic, since I play almost all sports games so the Old Spice Redzone Report isn't out of place.
