(if needed) install japanese character packs Also, I've noticed that there are annoying ads that make noise and flash. To fix that, do the following: 1a. Install Firefox 1b. Turn off your sound 2. Install the Adblock Plus extension 3. Click "block" on the upper right hand corner of the ads
