suspicions confirmed

okay, obviously the joker is the best villian of all time.

but I was really thrown off when he did two things that weren't funny.

#1- beating robin to death with a baseball bat. (I forget which robin..)
#2- Raping and torturing Barbara (one of the bat girls) to the point where she got paralyzed from the waist down-- and then she became the oracle and worked with birds of prey..

but yeah, as it was happening I kept waiting for the joker to say something clever or ironic, but it just never happened.
