I have good news for everyone! In case you all didn't already know, dave got the marksmanship award and is most likely going to be graduating with honors. He got 44 out of 50 shots correct on the M16 rifle and a 97% on his End of Course test. I'm soooo proud of him!! :)

Btw, only 10% (so like 40?) people actually graduate with honors from BMT. He is one of that percentage! God he's so amazing, is he not? lol!

that is pretty sweet.

now i know not to get into a sniper fight with david.

although, I must say, it is pretty damn easy to his a still target, I hit like 8 out of 10 shots in hunters safety with no practice beforehand. I'll be more impressed if I find out they were moving targets.

COMPUTER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, i don't have my own lappy yet (I'm at the library right nao). um... yeah, so i got marksman, and 95% on the test (not 97% like i had thought) I was an honor graduate so i have more ribbons than about 98% of the rest of the graduating class. and I'm going to Fort Aberdeen in Maryland at about 0200 on the 27th (so in in less that 24 hours from now) what else... um.... i sleep about 6 hours every night. i wake up before 0500 so none of you can make fun of me for my sleeping habits anymore. these dress shoes are very uncomfortable (I've been wearing my dress uniform for the past week). I'm really good at making beds... um... i know how to survive a chemical attack. hrmmmmm.... my voice has changed due to all of the yelling i've had to do. let's see.... what else... I can run a 6 minute mile while sick (i've had a cough for the past 3 weeks because i rained on while sleeping in a tent during field training.) I went through the infamous gas chamber twice which was not fun. I'm immune to being yelled at. my hair is extremely short and my acne is starting to clear up considerably. i also have a newfound fondness for peanut butter and bananas. that's about all i can think of at the moment.
