i hope i can get all of this stuff set up adequately. it's stressing me out a little bit to tell the truth. not marrying brit i mean, she takes away my stress, but getting all of it set up.

I'd recommend putting more money into you reception and honeymoon than your actual wedding considering your going to get married at a court house.
Consider your only to have those close on for a few hours of you whole lives.
I'd try to keep the dress under $200.

well we aren't getting married in a courthouse, but we are only having a judge so it'll be cheap. I still need to get my dress.

wait, so where are you getting married? it's not who marries you that's the big expense, that's just a gratuity. i think we gave our pastor $50. it's the dresses, flowers, photography, etc. that's the big deal. and hey, you don't have to go far to have a great honeymoon. i mean, staying in a beautiful resort in sheboygan would be way better that a crappy motel in florida.
oh, and when you find the dress you like, get the brand, style number and right size and look elsewhere before you buy. seriously, i got my $560 dress for $188 online. and if you need alterations, i know someone cheap, and good.

i have a question: what's a prate minus a ship?

but srsly, we figure we want about 70-80 ppl and, as non-traditional and possibly tacky as it may seem to some hoity-toity people, we're probably going to have a potluck type thing at the park and i think people may have a little more fun. besides, I'm only an E-2, maybe I'll be an E-3 by then (a whole $80/month difference). not making a ****-ton of money really.

Now i would like to give brit a big fancy special wedding but we also have to be practical. I know some of my ideas may be tacky or seem white-trashish but it's only because i cant really afford to do a whole hell of a lot.
