just got done with first day of classes and all i have to say is "eh." 
My philososphy teacher's great (we're going to be watching the matrix to study our own perceptions on reality), my chem teacher looks like a gold miner from 1849, but he's kind've a jackas*, and my calculus teacher is pretty much a carbon copy of Mleziva, except i'm fairly sure he plays WoW( he keeps using phrases like "kill the fraction" and "decimate the decimal" and my favorite, "don't aggro the equation or you'll get a zero in the denominator and blow up the universe, noob."

mon-wed-fri i only have geology courses in the middle of the day, so those will be my favorite days of the week.

o, btw, my orientation to my geology major was great!  They talked for ten minutes and then we blew up not one, but TWO garbage cans.  All the prof.s in the geology dep. remind me of the ppl from mythbusters, and half the time we'll be going on field trips and camping.  I think i found the best...major...ever
