Well, E3 is coming up. We can use this thread to talk about the new stuff that we find interesting that is announced. Microsoft's press conference is tomorrow, so I'll try and watch that if I'm not at work.

Things of note from Microsoft's Show:
-Half Life 2: The Orange Box looks neat
-Theres a bunch of neat looking stuff going to Xbox Live arcade
-The RE5 teaser was awesome
-Halo 3 was mentioned 1,000,000 times
-My wallet screams in pain as I whisper to it the games I would like to purchase
-Rock Band looks silly
-G4 cut to a commercial in the middle of the Halo 3 trailer, pissing off many nerds
-The RE5 teaser was awesome

Things of note from Nintendo's Conference:
-Old people like the DS and Wii
-The media does, too
-BRAIN AGE BRAIN AGE BRAIN AGE
-Mario Galaxy comes out in Noivember
-Online Mario Kart comes out early '08
-They ended to conference with Wii Fit

This conference was VERY close to being as bad as Sony's was from last year. I want vidya gaems, not edutainment, Nintendo.

i want to get my hands on spore...i can't wait to play God as i design creatures to my will and directly affect their beliefs and cultures

you do realize that without christianity, many of the worlds weapons wouldn't have been realized for many centuries. So, maybe your aethiest planet wouldn't be so technologically advanced there joe

I have no basis of fact on the christianity thing, but it makes sense when you think of all the wars over it, plus the fact that organized people generally are more technologically advanced than non-organized people

Openin' dis, E3 started today and I shall provide you all with the important bits.

Microsoft
-Rock Band 2 is a 360 exclusive
-Resident Evil 5 comes out in March of '09 with co-op
-Final Fantasy XIII is coming to the 360 (an epic ****storm ensued)
-the N64 Banjo Kazooie is coming to XBLA
-Netflix will stream movies on Live
-the 360 will get its own style of Miis and a huge dashboard update this fall

Thats about it.
