no it's true. i heard someone say this was going to turn out like OJ Simpson and he would get off free. well, what's the difference here? money. it's all in who you know and how much you pay them.

antidisestablishmentarianism wrote: that's absolutely horrible! i can't even....oh, i would just want to brutally murder the person who would do that to my dog! sick. absolutely sick. you know what it reminds me of sick? that sickscene from the godfather with thesick horse head, which was also sick. even though it was fake, the idea was still sick. and now some creep(s) think they can go doing this sort ofsick stuff? these are the sick kind of people who give sickvideo games such a bad sick image because they have no sense to differentiate between sick fiction and sick real life and decide to shoot sick people at sick school or try some sick WWE move on their little sister and end up killing her or whatever else there is. and even if whoever did this wasn't basing it off of something else, it's still just twisted and wrong and i hope to sick God they catch the sick person because something like that is hardly a step below psychopathic and just plain twistedly sick sickly WRONG! this might sound strange, but i actually tend to get more infuriated by sick people who kill sick animals than those who kill other sick people. Yes, the latter are a terrible sickgroup, but the thing about sick animals is that they are innocent and whoever kills them is probably doing it either out of sick anger towards another sick person or simply because they enjoy killing sickthings for no sick reason...and those are both wrong on so many sick levels...!! i could go on, but i think it's better to end this sick rant now. it's just sickthings like that get me so horrified and infuriated...(shudder).
Damn...u said the word sick 6 times in that post...that's not enough so i'll add some more...u really start to lose the meaning of the word sick when u use it so many times
so I heard that there's thisw new... thing. and it's causing a lot of controversy come on guys guys, we need more stuff to bitch/whine/complain/debate/theorize about.

the people who research this phenomenon have absolutley no concept of the gaming world. I read a book abou this once and the people who wrote it thought that mortal kombat was a third-person shooter and that the classic side-scrolling mario games were violent because the player generally smashes at least 5 blocks within a minute, therefore being a very destructive game. what a joke. If you want violent, play manhunt or RE4.

Come on people, we have a serious business thread and no talk of that shooting at Virginia Tech? For shame! Anyways, I expect there to be a huge crackdown coming up in all schools. Anything even remotely resembling a weapon will be banned. Hope you like spoons, because forks are too close to spears! Also, the gun control advocates are going to be out in full force after this incident.
anyone else find it ironic that a few years ago high school shootings were the scare, but now it's college shootings...and the younger people like us then get to face the music...we get the lectures about teenage violence and deal with paranoia in high schools, and then once we thought we would get a slight break from all that in college, someone shoots up a college and now WE will have to sit through lectures about college violence and paranoid campus security and such...

people spend at least the first 18 years of thier lives getting an education for the rest of thier lives... and to die young is such a tragedy because that person never gets to get out of the control of others, live life the way they want to and use what they know. but what i really find tragic is when someone is about to graduate college, finally at that point where life becomes thier own, and all those years of preparation just get thrown out. time and money and all kinds of effort spent working for a prosperous future, and then something takes it all away in an instant. honestly, the idea is terrifying. i'm not just talking about school shootings, but car accidents or anything could take away everything in an instant. meh, i sound all philisophical, sorry. but honestly, it's sad.

yeah sorry, i'm not sure if that was a rant against goverment and society or a realization of the magnitude of tragedy in this world. both i guess. everyone please stay alive for at least another ten years...preferably about 50-60 years more.

the killer sent a package of pictures, videos clips, and writings to msnbc headquarters, and if you go to msnbc.com, it's the headline story. it's just eerie to see how this guy thought...and the pictures are just creepy...and terrifying to see what was probably the last thing the victims saw...
