well, the dell lady was wrong about the RAM, i need a new processor, and the repair guy is also ordering me another motherboard and a new fan just to cover whatever the hell my laptop is up to. he replaced my RAM anyway but of course it didn't fix the problem. this was supposed to be a simple speaker replacement. now i've had or or will have almost every vital hardware piece replaced...erg.

i have a working computer, after getting new internal speakers, a new motherboard, new RAM, another new motherboard, and a new processor. i also now know my local dell technician by first name, after having him to my house 4 times.
