Finally, there is an end in sight for my Xbox repairs. The guy at tech support told me I should get it this week and he gave me a UPS tracking number. Yay.
canon has good customer service. i filled out my repair order online, shipped the camera and had it done and shipped back in about 5 days, with the optical unit replaced, the entire camera cleaned and inspected, and a new three month warranty on parts serviced. i know you guys don't care, but i was impressed.

7 days to get the empty box to send my broken game system in the mail.
7/5 days for the Xbox to arrive at the repair center. I don't remember how long it took because it was so long ago.
9 days to repair it. It finally got shipped out on the 29th, and the status at UPS.com still says "Billing Info Received," which means it hasn't gone anywhere.
The time to get it shipped back to me is supposed to take 3 days. I don't trust that, because the system was supposed to arrive at the repair center in 3 days, and it didn't.
I am definitely not impressed with their customer support. Hell, I don't even remember what the date was when my Xbox broke it was so long ago.
But anyway, I will need to borrow your monitor david becauseĀ I changed the resoution on my game to see what it would look like but evidentily my monitor/and or video card doesn't support that resolution. I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling but the settings stayed the same so I'm going to borrow your monitor and see if the game pops up and change to resolution back to something that works on my monitor.
