A few pics are OK, but remember he only has one small drawer to put all his private stuff in. I mean a drawer that is only 10" x 9" x 4" and it has to do him for 6 weeks. Also the military will sensor whatever is sent to him so please limit the size of the letter and the pictures. No porn type stuff they won't let him have it, but if it makes him laugh it is good. Keep it small. I am sure right now he would love to here from anyone, but especially his friends. I write, but I am just the mom. It has limited effect. It's great when your 5, but at 19 it aint the thrill it once was.

i'm pretty sure that all of our letters filled that box to the brim! I mean I know I sent him like 6 or 7 letters every week, so that thing's gotta be full!

lol, i never knew this thread existed until now. also, i still like getting letters; i learned how valuable they are during bmt... and i started to have a hard time fittng all the letters in my drawer towards the end but i felt loved... especially from brittany who is responsible for about half the letters i got. thank you
